1968 Mustang GT "California Special"

During 1968,two special editions were made,the California Special and the High Country Special.1968 was the ONLY year that Carol Shelby used coups for special editions.The 1968 mustangs came out with different sizes of motors,it was also the year they switched from the 289 motor to the 302 motor.1968 was also the last year to use the smaller body types for mustangs.

1967 Mustang "okie Special"

This 1967 mustang convertable was fully restored from a rusting pile of.....well you know what. My dad had it done for my mom. it is the last one my dad did before he passed away. This car is verry special not only to my family but to fellow mustangers alike. this car has been in several car shows, and magazines. Right now my mom keeps it nice and safe in Mesa, Az. It was featured as the car of the month in the Copper State Mustang clubs mounthly online newsletter in June of 2002. Out of all the mustang's my dad restored this is the one i like the most. Ijust hope that some day I can restore mine to my dad's specifications. I really miss my dad and I know the mustang community misses him as well. Sorry i had to mention my dad when i think of mustangs i think of my dad Mr.Jim Slack and Mr. Mustang to most people.
